Openspeedway Servers run with a specific set of rules
that ALL driver must follow. These
rules will be enforced by all Bosses and Admins. First of all, we race for fun, if you
can't race for fun, don't bother racing with us. DO NOT intentionally wreck for the
thrills. This will earn you a Ban
as fast as the wreck happened.
These rules are for your racing satisfaction and will be enforced on ALL
Openspeedway Servers.
Please read these BEFORE you commit to racing here.

Tips - We run a fixed setup so that everyone is pretty
much equal. If you are having problems controlling your car or it pushes up
real bad in the turns, you might try adjusting your wheel. We have a good
starting point that we give out.
1. Go into Options and Calibrate your wheel.
2. Click on Advanced. Set the Steering Assistance at 15%, Set the linearity at
75-80% and check the box for Boost steering at low speeds.
3. If you are still chasing the wheel and the car is still pushing up the track
in the turns, go into the garage and turn the steering ratio down to 20 and
test it. You might want to adjust it up or down from there until you get the
feel that is right for you.
4. If your steering is twitchy, try turning down the linearity alittle or
turning the steering ratio up.
Running the game in a Window
- Running the game in a window let's you jump back and forth to your desktop
without getting of the of game.
1. First, you have to run
the game at the same resolution as your desk top.
2. Run the 3D config and check the "Run in a window" box.
3. Go into your game folder using Windows Explorer and find the app.ini file.
4. Open the file and look for the 2 lines like this:
windowTopLeftX=0
windowTopLeftY=0
5. Change the "windowTopLeftX=0" to windowTopLeftX=-3
6. Change the "windowTopLeftY=0" to windowTopLeftY=-23
7. Start the game, you only want to see a small line at the top of the screen.
You don't want to be able to see the boxes to minimize the screen, but you
should still be able to find them.
8. To raise the window higher, raise the "windowTopLeftY=" number.
